"OMG. Maidens, where have you been hiding? I've traveled to Delhi for decades. The Taj Palace & The Leela are like home. Familiar faces, familiar comforts. This time, I needed a hotel near the hospital where my mom was having surgery. The Maidens. Turning into the driveway, I was hit with a wow. Grand arches. Sweeping balconies. White Indo-Colonial architecture. A quiet, elegant lobby. Not trying too hard to impress. The Maidens lets its soul speak. I couldn't stop turning my head, breathing in every small detail. I didn’t grow up with this kind of glamour, but it still felt familiar. Even the sweet, rose-water-infused welcome drink—I could taste my childhood in it. The feeling continued into my suite: soaring ceilings, antique floors, an elegant, quiet bedroom. The best 4 hours of sleep I’ve had in ages. Knowing I'd leave early, I had a packed breakfast waiting for me. Small gesture. Huge impact. One last thing—when I stepped outside, I was hit with this heady, gorgeous fragrance—jasmine maybe? The air was full of it. Not a curated hotel scent (no insult intended, Taj & Leela). This was real. Organic. If I had to describe my experience in one sentence—it felt like running barefoot across a hot aangan, a feeling only Indians can understand. I still love you Taj & Leela, but the Maidens did what you can't. It made me feel happy. Special shoutout to Deepika for fixing my botched booking & upgrading me to a suite. Also, where did you get your period lights? I must know!!"

"It’s only a few minutes walk from the New Delhi railway station. Nice rooms and Staff was great, Makes sure guests are comfortable and quickly takes care of any problems they have."

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Only negative is the area the hotel is in. It is close to main attractions such as Connaught Place and the Red Fort but the immediate vacinity of the hotel is not the best with limited dinning options. As such, I went to the hotel restaurant for dinner and it took over an hour to receive my food order and drink, the food was good but the service takes way too long."

"Stayed here twice on the 20th February and first of April check in was fast no problems the room was good. Free water is provided in the room the room was clean. The bathroom is good with a rain shower with good water pressure but no where to hang towel and no toilet roll holder in the bathroom. Minor issues like no shower screen the bathroom gets wet. Other than that it was pleasant stay. On my first stay I did have breakfast on the terrace restaurant but found my Indian breakfast bland so did not bother eating there again. Both my stays were in transit. First time I was allowed late check out as I had a train to catch in the afternoon. Getting a taxi can be a problem as the bazaar gets very busy and people like Uber are reluctant to pick you up. Overall I had a pleasant stay whether I stay again depends on the price point as it’s very expensive for the area and surroundings . I found the staff to be good and service minded. "Located in a depressed, challenging spot, the hotel is still a shining example of Delhi’s past resuscitated into contemporary glory. Staff were so kind and welcoming, the restaurant food & atmosphere are spectacular, and still worth a stay. I hope to visit the other hotel properties. "
