「Seven family members stayed at the RIU Palace Guanacaste. Three of us had birthdays and the rooms were updated and decorated. We had a Junior suite that was had alcohol dispensers, a fridge with drinks, a mini jacuzzi and king bed with a lovely veranda overlooking the pool and partial view of the ocean. 「We stayed at this property for a week and had a wonderful time as a family. Our kid enjoyed the pool, slides, and also was very fond of the staff at the Kids Club (Riu Land). The grounds were very well kept and we enjoyed our sunset strolls on the beach. Diamanté Adventure Park (the Animal Sanctuary) right next door is recommended - take the free shuttle bus. Other than Diamante, there's nothing around the resort so I suggest renting a car if you want to explore beyond the immediate area. 」

「We enjoyed our stay at Condovac. We traveled with teens and little kids. The food was wonderful, lots to choose from. The kids enjoyed the fresh fruit and endless pina coladas. The location itself is wonderful but you need to take the shuttle if you want to go from the ocean to the lobby/restaurant. It's pretty hard to get around if you have a baby in a stroller. You have to climb the big hill or grab the shuttle which means folding the stroller and holding the baby. It's quit difficult if...

「Overall nice property. Staff were friendly and helpful. Grounds were well kept. This is a hilly property, but they offer a very responsive shuttle service. Our room in bldg 14 offered a phenomenal view of the bay. We stayed at this resort about seven years ago. Not much has changed and some of the areas of the property are worn. That said all employees try hard to ensure a memorable stay. We would consider returning in the future. 」

「Staff very friendly and helpful. The chef and team created delicious food that we really enjoyed. Bartenders friendly, provided good cocktails and some travel tips. Some of the property could use a freshen up (chipped tiles, sweep on bottom of door to room/bugs). Overall, we loved the location, layout, beach access. Value for the price. Thank you.」
