"My father and I chose to stay in Brookings during a recent ice-fishing trip. The house was perfect. It has a great kitchen, comfortable beds, and a very responsive host. Close to SDSU, restaurants, and a grocery store. We enjoyed the historic home and relaxed atmosphere."

"Host was excellent to work with making everything easy, service was above and beyond expected with the complimentary food/drink items and speedy response. . Home was great for our kids multiple spaces for them to spread out. The sunroom was a favorite for everyone especially us moms during this fall season and view of the lake. Very clean and well cared for property. Excellent neighborhood, close to the public water access, great area for walks and I can only imagine how awesome the place is during the summer. They have a nice dock and looks like this property is one of the few with beach! We came to Brookings for Hobo day and it was a great time of year to enjoy this beauty lake and was close to town. Only complaint was I wish we would’ve spent more time at the property. "
