"The Rustic Rook Resort is a fabulous new addition to the Yurt/Bin wave of alternative to hotel stays. It is just a few miles from the Great Sand Dunes National Park that is simply awe inspiring and has fabulous sledding on the Dunes for the entire family. Excellent dining is about 20 minutes away in downtown Alamosa. The stars at night are incredible. We stayed in a Bin, which was less rustic than the name would imply. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our dog. We wouldn't hesitate...

My only complaint would be the location of the bed in the bedroom, it’s a full and up against the wall, I get claustrophobic so sleeping on that side of the bed was difficult for me since my partner gets up at night. Other than that we had a good time!"
