「We loved our stay at the wonderful cottage directly by the sea. We found it perfect at any weather. If it's sunny, enjoy the gorgeous view from the garden with the patio and if it's cold and rainy, huddle up in the livigroom by by the fire. It's wonderful to wake up, open the (really thick) curtains and see the ocean! Claire is the perfect host. Always available via chat if there's a question and lightning-fast with her replies. Johnshaven is a short dog-walk away with its pretty small harbour...

「If you are looking for peace, quiet and the experience of remote living in Scotland the White House is just perfect. Car necessary as it’s a 25 min drive to nearest town with facilities. We had hired cars which was just as well as there was no way our own cars could have coped with the terrain and the snowy weather. The grounds and surrounding areas to the property are beautiful. Alan, the host was good at communicating and replied very quickly to any queries I had.
