PROS:
A wonderful historic home stocked with everything you need for a short, simple stay. Lots of extras included (kitchen equipment, bathroom supplies, BBQ etc.)
Close to many restaurants, pubs, shops and close to public transit.
Great patio in the backyard for sitting out in the evenings.
Owner communication was simple and to the point.
CONS:
PARKING. On-street parking is very, very limited and it is very difficult to find a spot. The map left by the owners is also misleading/does not provide enough information. Be very carful or you may get a ticket. If you are traveling with a vehicle this may not be the spot for you. Had to park 4 or 5 blocks away or be on constant alert for a spot.
Advertising this home as having "Street parking available" is disingenuous at best and an outright lie at worst.
Yes, there is technically a very small amount of very limited parking theoretically available, but you will almost certainly not be able to use it. If you have luggage or children, be prepared to walk up to 5 blocks to your car every time you leave, and spend 15-20min hunting the nearby streets for a spot every time you come back.
Door code was not as provided in confirmation email and had to be updated by owners via text.
Wifi name was not as listed in the confirmation or on the sign in the unit. We got it working on our own by guessing. Wifi failed several times and had to be restarted.
Overall a very positive experience marred by horrible access and parking.
