If you were a friend, I would tell you to NEVER book this property.
I booked the property because it had a fenced in yard and parking near the house --- I had to lug two heavy dog crates around, so parking was important to me.
However, when I arrived, there was NO parking whatsoever. The alley was being torn up --- I talked with the construction crew & confirmed the lack of parking. All the on-street parking was taken.
I never even entered the property (of course, since there was nowhere to park). I had to scramble to find a dog-friendly hotel at the last minute & drive another 40 minutes & was out of pocket another $250 for that hotel for the SAME night.
The owners were not at all understanding. They insisted there had been parking. Not according to the construction crew or my eyeballs.
As I understand it, the upstairs tenant stated that 3 hours after I left, you could park on the street. Of course that did not help me. I was there at the agreed-upon check in time (4 p.m.) and waiting around for hours without knowing if parking would become available with two crated dogs in a hot car was not a viable option.
I asked the owners to AT LEAST consider refunding the pet fee and cleaning fee - since I had not even entered the property. THEY REFUSED.
They said that they considered a $50 refund reasonable. I paid the owners $379 for NOTHING and lost an additional $250 for the hotel for that same night.
Hopefully this review will help spare you my fate.
