New barn dominium with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a twin size futon in the living area suitable for a child or small adult. 1 full bathroom with shower and hairdryer. All linens, towels and paper products supplied. We also have soft water. Toiletries available upon request. Full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes and utensils and dish soap. Wi-Fi and Roku on the TV + DVD player. BBQ grill and outside seating on a covered patio area with views of Needles and Black Elk Peak. Firepit. Great for a relaxing evening. Star gazing is great here as well. Paved road to the property and for bikers there is indoor bike parking available with additional fee. Well behaved pets are welcome. Pets cannot be left unattended. 4 miles to downtown Historic Downtown Custer, 6 miles to the West entrance of Custer State Park, 9 miles to Sylvan Lake, 11 miles to Crazy Horse, 12 miles to Wind Cave Park, 12 miles to Jewel Cave, 15 miles to Hill City and the 1880 Train and Depot, 34 miles to Mt. Rushmore and 1 hour to Rapid City. Fishing and hiking. Custer offers many dining opportunities. RV hookup also available on site with water, electric and waste hookup.

This was a wonderful property close to all of the state and national parks in the area. The owners are wonderful, it’s a beautiful house and piece of property. If you like dark skies, then this is also an ideal spot. I captured a great photo of the Milky Way on just my iPhone.

The area was quiet and rural while being approximately 30 minutes or less from Hot Springs, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and more. Accommodations were comfortable. I would stay again if in the area.

Absolutely charming!
First off, communication with the property owners was stellar! Immediate quick responses! We got delayed with our road trip from Western Wyoming and ended up arriving later than expected. We kept in touch. But oh!!! Such a quaint, charming place! Wish we could’ve enjoyed it longer! My nephew sleeps with lights on and my partner in crime? Complete darkness. A motel in one room would not work! Perfect place to cater to both sleeping ways! Highly recommend! Provided so much just wish we could’ve enjoyed all! Thumbs up!!!

Awesome place to stay for taking utv
Saw elk three miles south of here on the trails. Deer everywhere. Plenty of room for walking dogs. Awesome fireworks show in Custer for the fourth. Recommending to some of my coworkers who like utv rides. Trailer friendly parking. Nice cooking area and grill set up. Beds and couches are comfortable. Very clean place to stay.

Nice place with a new barndominium look
Place seemed like new. Clean and had everything we needed. Quiet location with a mountain view from the front patio. Friendly owner who is right next door if you need anything. I would recommend for the value.

This property was very nice and it is located in a beautiful country setting. The deer came up to the house and we could watch them from the front porch. The properties location made it a great starting point for numerous outdoor treks. This is a property that we will keep in our revisit file.
