「The cottage was perfect for our weekend trip to visit our son at West Point. A picturesque drive to West Point, the cottage was so cute and was full of thoughtful amenities. Had we had the time to cook, the kitchen was stocked with spices, condiments, and cooking oils to make it easy to do so. The complimentary coffee was perfect as we arrived late and the stores were closed. The host was easy to contact and so kind and thoughtful. We will definitely book again. 」

「Cozy, clean property. We had everything we needed for a 3-night stay for West Point Family Weekend. Several stores & restaurants conveniently nearby. Host Neury was most accommodating. Incredible views & scenery!!」

「Landscaping was spectacular and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the lake. Baths and bedrooms very clean. Plenty of charging ports. Terrible mold and mildew smell in lower level. Number of hazards noted, handrail missing on stairs, no lights on outdoor stairway, thermostat access by leaning over the stairs. The property needs a good deep cleaning.」

「If you pictured this property minutes from the historic district of Newtown it’s exactly that. The space brings to life the feeling of the rustic yet comfortable aspect of Connecticut. My adult son and teenage daughter were comfortable but thoroughly enjoyed the living room fireplace. This location is 10 minutes away from restaurants that will please most families with a mix of family to high end with a side of fancy. 」

If you are looking for peace and quiet, and are into drawing, cooking or reading books to the sounds of trees rustling and water flowing across the street, you will be in heaven here. 「We loved our two nights at this perfect, comfortable cottage in the Garrison woods. Communication with Ashley was terrific, very prompt and welcoming. The house was very clean and we had a great view. Thank you for a great stay! 」

「Needed a safe, beautiful space to have a girls weekend. Everything you need is there. The movie room was a bonus!!! The view is gorgeous. Hopefully we can get it for a weekend in the summer. 」
