"Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings."

"The house was gorgeously decorated and very clean! The views of the valley were peaceful and serene! We were a few minutes drive from a wonderful little grocery store that had milk, butter, fresh bread, and super fresh produce! It was truly an authentically Italian experience! Stefania was always available by text if we had a question. The house was great for 8 people and a 20 minute drive from La Spezia."

"We loved this villa - it was very comfortable and well equipped and we loved the pool with its beautiful views. Fabio the owner was very friendly and made us very welcome. The location is rather remote - there isn't really anything in Vigneta and you need to drive to the nearest shop and restaurant. However, we were very happy relaxing in the villa and round the pool so this didn't really impact on us."
