Perfect Getaway
Lovely small home located right on Lake Blackshear with a very nice fenced yard & a covered dock out back, sitting area and you can fish right from it. Although, we did take fishing equipment we did not fish so sadly no fishing report. The home is located in what I would call an upscale community. Lovely woods are across the road and during our trip we saw 3 deer and quite a variety of birds. We enjoyed the feeders out back & all the red birds. It’s the perfect location to meet the train & take it to Plains GA, home of Jimmy Carter.. Don’t miss visiting Plains and having the peanut butter ice cream! Plains has several antique stores and the train trip was so much fun! We would definitely stay here again, the home was spotless!

AWESOME PLACE
The home is great! we enjoyed our stay, was very close to lots of activities ( golf, movies, restaurants). the house was very well furnished in all areas. we loved the pool table and my sons really loved the kayaks on the lake fishing. great neighborhood, very friendly neighbors. the home owner took very good care of us. we will stay again.

Friends Weekend
Our weekend was perfect at Papas Paradise! The porch was perfect to hang out in the mornings and evenings. The dock was so relaxing with the fans going. The boys got to play ping pong. The dinner table was perfect for playing cards. The beds were very comfortable and the location was close to everything we needed. Plan on coming back!!

Great Vacation!
The house was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Everything you could possibly think of is provided; all you need to bring is food. Of course, you could catch your own from the dock. :-) We caught many fish from the beautiful, covered dock. As lovely as the house is, we spent most of our time enjoying nature from the dock or the screened porch. We certainly intend to go back to Papa's Paradise!!!

Great times in cozy house by the lake
My brother's family along with my husband and I had a great stay in this house. It was a great location close to Lake Blackshear where other family was camping. I just wish it wasnt so called so we could take advantage of the outdoor living more. Great screened porch to have morning coffee and dock to fish on if there was fish. Family even played soccer in the big backyard. Thank you Georgia!

Great Family Weekend
We enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect for a small family get together. The yards were also very well kept and we loved having the fenced in backyard. It gave our 2 year old grandson a place to play. It was very clean and just as described. We are wanting to return in the future.

44th Anniversary trip!
Papa’s Paradise was perfect for our anniversary stay. We had everything we needed and the place was maintained very well. I loved the swing by the water for coffee in the mornings and the boat dock was nice and very accommodating. We will be back! Thanks for answering all of our questions prior to our arrival. It was indeed all of what I wanted and needed in my stay. One - I wanted to rent a boat for two days, but there policy is, I had to turn the boat in by 5:30pm. Perhaps, if the marine could change that - that would or will have me coming back and it will also have my family coming there.

Paradise
My family and I have stayed here several times in the past and each time gets better than the last. There are SO many memories here for our family. Its perfectly cozy and extremly relaxing. We enjoyed four days of relaxation and the fishing, of course! Speaking to Ms. Georgia was like speaking with a friend you've known for years! Thank you for graciously opening up your home for others to enjoy. We cant wait to come back!
