「Les Jardins is a charming place with beautiful gardens and quiet despite being in Rio! However, it is isolated in streets that are not safe at night; all travel to and from has to be done by Uber.I Only breakfast is provided; all other food has to be ordered online and delivered, although the staff are willing to do the ordering. Breakfast is also served very late - not till 9am. And the room was not cleaned during my stay - apparently I had to ask for this. It was billed as a 4 star hotel but...

「No primeiro dia nos colocaram no andar S, que é uma garagem transformada em andar com apartamentos. Era horrível, abafado, sem janela e nem parecia um hotel. Pedimos pra trocar de quarto logo na chegada, más não fomos atendidos pois, segundo eles, não havia quartos disponíveis. 「It was a good stay. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast had a good variety and delicious! The room was a bit dark, didn't get much sunlight. Our room had a view of the neighboring building. We only had a small view of the beach from the balcony. The shower hose was broken, the water was weak and it leaked. Still, thanks to the great staff, I’ll definitely come back to PortoBay.」

「The hotel is adorable and the staff is very friendly. Santa Teresa is a artsy neighborhood with great food and entertainment options. The only issue with my stay is that they leave delicious complimentary chocolate & coffee cookies in the room and they attract hundreds of ants. I appreciate the gesture but they must realize this is an issue in the property. I probably ate a dozen tiny ants before I saw them crawling all over my hand and arm.」
