Was not impressed with the manager. Broken shower head wasn't fixed, he didn't seem to care. On the other hand, the breakfast buffet was fantastic.

A shadow of it's former self.
This hotel used to be a part of the Romantik chain of hotels and was excellent but now it's a hotel Garni, just bed and breakfast and a shadow of its former self. Reception only staffed 1 PM to 11 PM. Bar and restaurant closed. Poor selection of fruit at breakfast which was otherwise adequate. You must ask for your room to be serviced. The en-suite could do with being redecorated, as could several corridors. I had the feeling that the hotel was operating on a shoestring basis. The few staff on duty were friendly and professional.I had a good-sized room that was comfortable.

Waren an Silvetser für eine Nacht in Coburg und haben uns für dieses Hotel entschieden, was wir auch in Zukunft wählen würden. Personal sehr freundlich, unkomplizierter check in als auch check out. Standardzimmer für uns vollkommen ausreichend gewesen mit kostenlos gefüllter Minibar, vielen Dank! Kostenlose Shampoo/ showergel spender die wahnsinnig gut duften 👍 Frühstück sehr lecker gewesen mit viel Auswahl. Neben dem Hotel direkt ein Parkhaus. Den Saunabereich haben wir leider nicht genutzt. Für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Die goldenen Zeiten sind lange vorbei!
Mein kürzlicher Aufenthalt im Hotel Goldene Traube war leider enttäuschend, da der Zustand des Hauses deutlich hinter modernen Standards zurückbleibt. Es ist offensichtlich, dass das Hotel schon lange nicht mehr renoviert wurde und dringend Investitionen benötigt. Schon beim Betreten des Hotels sind die Mängel unübersehbar: Flecken auf den Teppichen, Wände voller Spuren und Kratzer sowie Schimmel in den Badezimmern. Mein Zimmer war ebenfalls in einem schlechten Zustand. Besonders ärgerlich war der Zustand der Fenster: Bei einem fehlte der Griff vollständig, und das andere war defekt und konnte nicht mehr gekippt werden. Im gesamten Haus fiel zudem die mangelhafte Beleuchtung auf – viele Strahler der Deckenbeleuchtung waren defekt, was den ohnehin dunklen Eindruck verstärkte. Besonders alarmierend war die verkeilte Brandschutztür im vierten Stock, ein schwerwiegendes Sicherheitsproblem, das unverzüglich behoben werden müsste. Insgesamt vermittelt das Hotel den Eindruck, dass es seit Jahren vernachlässigt wurde. Sauberkeit, Wartung und einladendes Ambiente fehlen an vielen Stellen. Das Potenzial des Hauses ist spürbar, doch ohne umfangreiche Renovierungen ist das Hotel aktuell nicht zu empfehlen. Fazit: Leider nicht mehr zeitgemäß – ein Aufenthalt lohnt sich nur, wenn dringend notwendige Modernisierungen umgesetzt werden.
