The property is very cool (the manager told us it was built around 1780!), with an interesting layout, pretty outdoor areas, and a nice old-school vibe. Our room was comfortable and had all the standard amenities.
The B&B has contactless check-in, where they just text you the day of your arrival with a code to access the main gate, a code to access your room, and other details like the Wi-Fi info. We found this very convenient, but we did have one confusing message under "Special instructions" in our confirmation email from Hotels.com that said, "To make arrangements for check-in please contact the property at least 24 hours before arrival using the information on the booking confirmation." This is not actually the case, and so it was a little confusing when we called ahead.
One concern we had upon arrival was whether it was safe/recommended to drink the tap water. Upon asking the property manager (who is very easy to reach via text), she told us the locals don't drink the tap water, so being prepared to go buy some bottled water is something to keep in mind when staying here.
The included breakfast is quite light and is all plant-based, so it may not be satisfying or substantial enough for some people. The main lack for me personally was dairy cream or milk as I don't care for plant milks in my coffee.
