The property was semi convenient as far as location to night markets and other things i chose to do. I arrived the week after the flood in Chiang Mai, and luckily the hotel seemed to be minimally untouch as far as flooding goes due to its build beinging higher off the ground. The rooms themselves started on tje 2nd floor, so that assured me of lack of flood damage. The area around the hotel was dirty feon the flood and had lots of garbage lining the street. I also didnt realize this area is considered the "red light" district according to locals until during my stay. My room itself was nothing fancy, and clean. The shower could have used some better cleaning, and the AC had trouble cooling the room. But, closing the bathroom door helped it to cool faster and more efficient. The breakfast was ok. Nothing like i had in other areas of Thailand, but served the purpose and was a perk of the stay for convenience sake. The staff was unwelcoming, and seemed to carry a "dont bother me" attitude, except for the person who tended the bar some evenings. They were super friendly and welcoming although the bar lacked basic options. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I liked that the room had a fridge and the cleaning staff only came into the room if you placed the tag out asking for the room to be cleaned. The amount paid for this hotel per night was reasonable for the situation and timing, I would give this hotel another go if the price stayed the same.
