「Had a great week here, even though a snowstorm shut the city down for three days. We stayed in a studio, #211 and were pleasantly surprised to find that it had a gas fireplace. It was nicely equipped for two people for a one week stay. We did hear people walking in the room above us, and sometimes music from the restaurant below. Comcast internet was extremely spotty to non-existent. Also, while there are two big screen TVs, the cable box does not provide an HD signal. Can’t beat the...

「The biggest issue, which is probably the largest complaint that anyone has of visiting downtown Charleston, is the absurdly expensive parking. The Lodge Alley Inn is a marvelous and convenient place to stay and it is very affordable. I remember that back in 2006 when I signed up for a Bluegreen timeshare the parking was free or almost so.」

「The property was clean and well-represented by the photos. It was a tidy, efficient space that worked perfectly for us (a family of 4). The management was super responsive to any questions we had. We used the pool every day—it was lovely and heated! And, the property was located at the end of a peaceful alley and it was surrounded by a beautiful garden. A truly peaceful retreat!」
