This house was perfect for our large gathering of friends and family. The main gathering area was perfect for hanging out, with plenty of seating for everyone. The pool table was a marquee feature, as was the front room full of windows, offering great views of the mountain when the clouds cleared. There are several tables to play games on and some games are provided. The kitchen was large, with counters a-plenty, and it was well stocked. There are TWO refrigerators. We only used one but I can see some people liking having a second. The overall layout is a little wonky, but it does separate the gathering space from the sleeping space for those early to bed. Once we walked through a couple of times, it all made sense. I was surprised to find the hot tub elevated near the main living areas.
Overall, the home and furniture are dated. This did not bother our group, but if you are finicky about these things, this may not be the home for you. We found it to be fun and less stressful than having a bunch of kids in a fancy home. One of my grandsons exclaimed “what the heck is that!?!?” when he saw the tube-style TV in his room with a built-in VCR. Lol. There was a “boom-box” that took cassettes near the dining room table. It’s a walk back in time for sure. The home is located close to Seven Springs, which was our goal. The turnoff to the home is actually across from the North Entrance to the ski resort. There is plenty of parking for a large group.
The great views comes at a price.
