「This farmhouse exceeded expectations. We had a large mixed group of alum and MD friends for the MD/PSU game and this farmhouse was perfect for our stay. An incredible space. Hospitality was top notch. The space was large enough for our group and the charming farmhouse felt like home. The house was clean and included everything we needed plus some. The property is unique and welcoming. Hosts were responsive to questions. Located away from the downtown crowds but just a quick uber/lyft ride away....

「Somerset county is so beautiful in the fall and Sweetwater Farm definitely fit the picturesque concept of Autumn we all have in our heads. The farm had tons of space, a fantastic fire pit, and an awesome host! Jill had the place well stocked with amenities and so clean and tidy. Everything was decorated for the fall time, complete with indoor decorations and pumpkins outside, Everything was perfect for us. There are tons of local sites and fall festivities in the area, so you will never be bored...

「We really enjoyed our stay here. We went to Hershey Park, hiked some Appalachian trails, visiting family close by and even got to see a plane land and take off. Our dog even felt comfortable and at home here.」

「My friends and I enjoyed a quiet weekend girls trip at the farm house and were trying to think of excuses to go back with more people. This would be a great place for three families to meet up for games, meals, & catching up around the fire pit.」

「We were there for my son’s wedding. 14 of us had plenty of room and beds. Absolutely the perfect location, walkable to the Kitchen Kettle Village and restaurants. We could sit on the porch and watch buggies go by. I would suggest leaving a bundle of firewood and matches. Took us 4 days to find any for sale. Will definitely be back!」

「We were visiting family in PA for a Celebration of Life. We loved staying on this property. Our boys enjoyed the chickens and the cat, Harvey! It was quiet, just what we needed. We'd love to stay again. Thank you!!!」

「The home was old but served its purpose well. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a little further from the Gettysburg battlefield than I would have preferred but it was the closest I could find that offered 4 beds which we needed. One bathroom was a challenge but we worked around it. The only negative was the street noise from the crossing where the house was located. No one was staying in the other rental above us so we were not distracted by any noise above us. I...

「Our daughter was getting married nearby and some of our family group stayed at this property. Our weekend included a 16 guest rehearsal dinner and a wedding flower arranging party. No one wanted to leave! I kept finding guests wandering the garden, visiting the horses, being entertained by the neighbor’s cow, goat and chickens or basking in the sun by the pond.
