「What a wonderful escape in the beautiful countryside! We loved our stay at the charming Farmhouse. The house itself was well stocked, clean, and spacious. The beds were so comfy! Plenty of places for our family to sprawl out. The yard was big and it was fun to see the cows in the meadow and walk down to the river. The host was great and responded quickly. Located near hiking, ski resort, and Harrisonburg. Great property!!!!」

「Tough place to find when we arrived at night, but reading the reviews i knew this. I would recommend a sign at the "Y" in the drive way to point to the house. The house itself was very nice. There is definitely a smell of dogs in the house so if that is an issue, this may not be your place. I was not able to utilize the outdoor spaces or the river because of a storm. I was there for a JMU finction and it was in a great location, far enough yet close enough. Again the only issue is the dog smell,...

「Cute little farmhouse, perfect for a fall getaway. Close to both Shenandoah National park and Harrisonburg.The hosts were very organized with notes throughout the house giving details on how to operate appliances, etc. Kitchen was well stocked and the living room had a guest book with every guest’s recommendations in the area. Very homey.」

「“This looks like this should be a Taylor Swift album cover!” That was one quote from a member of our party. Charming. Full of character. It was so fun to stay here!! What a privilege to have been able to stay here. Host was so accommodating. Just loved the whole experience!!」

「This property is pretty expensive for a one-person weekend retreat, and I was worried I would regret it. I didn't--not one little bit. The house is so incredibly comfortable and spotless and easy. And the sauna is truly incredible. I used it a LOT. The view is lovely as well, and it's an easy drive to some great hikes. I highly recommend this place. 」

「We had a top 10 weekend with our group of young professionals celebrating our bachelor's last days of single life. Rob and Charles were excellent hosts and this historic property provided us with the perfect venue for our needs.」

「We loved staying here and would recommend it to any family! It was perfect to gather around the table and enjoy a home cooked meal we had prepared together and then go outside and hang around the fire pit knowing we wouldn’t be disturbing anyone out in the country. Jennifer was very accommodating and very responsive and went out of her way to make our family feel welcome at the Farmhouse. I am definitely recommending to family and friends!」
