Relaxin weekend getaway
The house was nice and spacious. The location is a bit hidden but not too hard to find. we went in the fall & just watching the sunset here was so beautiful. Our only concern with the property was the cleanliness, most of the rooms were a bit dusty, some of the bed sheets needed to washed but aside from this I would say it is a good place to spend a weekend

Fantastic Weekend Getaway
We greatly enjoyed our stay! The house was pretty clean and had plenty of room for my husband, 6mo old baby and me with our 2 big dogs. The master bedroom is perfectly positioned to see the stars right from bed or if it isn’t too chilly then from the master bedroom balcony. There are balconies galore actually, one off the other upstairs bedroom, one off the kitchen, and a nice front porch as well. Everything is gated so the dogs couldn’t escape. The house was nicely stocked with kitchen wares and the patio had an outdoor heater and chairs which was a nice touch. Our only complaint was with the neighborhood due to a few very vocal and loud dogs, which obviously isn’t the fault of this rental and was only an issue when we tried to have the windows open at night after the baby went to sleep. Also, there is cable but no smart TV so no Netflix/Hulu or anything. Not a big deal but worth noting. Overall we would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others!

Dirty dishes , filthy old rugs, dirty old furniture.
Plates, pots and pans were all extremely greasy and dirty. Although in two of the bedrooms we did not use any of the homes sheets and towels but I did see cigarette burns on one of the sheets. Departure time is very inconvenient and ruined the whole weekend and even though we offered to pay more for a later departure, the agency did not accept. Will never ever use Verbo or the agency to book anything. Very very disappointed

Nice winter getaway
We really enjoy the stay on the property, especially it was freezing and snowing outside; while it was warm and cozy inside. It has everything we need for the stay. Although the house needs a bit of maintenance just like all of our houses, but overall, it was a very joyful experience.

Lovely weekend, would come again
This place was awesome. It was way more spacious than it looks on photos and offered lots of privacy for our stay. The only thing we didn’t know until arrival was there is no AC so it was very hot throughout the stay, in the 80s according to the thermostat.

Too short
Was no propane for bbq'ing and after making a phone call we had a full tank within 30 minutes. Not all the pans were clean to use roght away. Kids loved the visit and I was pleased to see a chair to use and sleep in the first few nights due to a broken arm. Was a bit challenging going up and down stairs but found a way to make it work. Other than the heat we had a great stay!

Nice place, good location. We did have a leak in the master shower that dripped down, through an access panel, onto the carpeted stairs. We called twice, talked to staff, and they said someone would be around to fix it. No one called or showed up. We put a bowl down on the stairs and it caught the water, but it needs fixing before it is rented again. I felt there was nothing else we could do.

Needs a good cleaning
We booked this house for its proximity to a family’s cabin nearby. Besides that the place was pretty tired and run down. We pulled up to a driveway full of weeds and overgrown plants. The paint was chipping and old on all patios. The carpet in the living room left our feet black, I was terrified to have my year in a half year old crawling on the floor. There were dangerous hazards like extension cords hanging from eve rug exterior patio. I will not be staying at this house again.

Wonderful, cozy mountain escape
Some real thought was put into the design and arrangements within this home. We enjoyed our time and appreciated the layout, balconies (3), bathtub, and fireplace the most. Make sure you factor in the fees when booking. The nightly rate was affordable, but the fees made up for almost as much as the nightly rate.

It was fine.
The stay was nice but there were some frustrating things about our experience. We had no idea we could access the lake so we had to drive out to Big Bear to get on a lake. It was hot and the AC didn't work. The cleaners were still there when we arrived even though we reached the house at 4 (check in time). We won't stay here next time. If we knew we couldn't access the lake we wouldn't have booked the home. The great part was the amazing hikes in the area.

Nice neighborhood
This was a nice quiet house to stay at. My only issue was that towels were left in washer and comforters need to be washed. They were pretty nasty. We just kept them on the floor. But all in all it was a nice place. Had Everything you needed and was close to the village

Poor + Great = So-So
There were some things that were great, like location, layout of multiple bathrooms and patios. Appreciated the games and DVDs and also liked the comfort of the pillows. The two of three showers we used were very nice, with hot water and water pressure. Also nice was the fenced in porches for the dog. There were a lot of disappointments, though, like cleanliness and general disrepair in multiple areas. Also, prior to the trip there was a real lack of communication from VACASA though I reached out multiple times. I will avoid this company in the future.

Nice mountain retreat
This was a very pleasant home. When we first arrived we noticed some uncleanliness - for instance, some of the dishes were not properly cleaned. We also ran low on toilet paper and paper towel quickly and had to purchase some ourselves at the local market. There was construction taking place at the cabin next door, which started early in the morning, with loud hammering, sawing, and staple-gunning. None of the bedrooms had black-out shades or shutters, so the early morning sunlight streamed in. Also, one of the upstairs bathrooms did not have window treatment, requiring the guest to duck when using the shower or toilet. Other than these issues, the home was very spacious, with a lovely patio out back. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, not far from Lake Arrowhead Village. If you go for a walk, you can see the lake one block over. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice place, but not good communication.
It’s a nice cabin and a good location. We had issues getting ahold of *anyone* about things. Lake Arrowhead is private, so you need passes to go to the beaches. We asked about getting them and were just ignored. It was frustrating. There was a sign on a table that said, “Please leave any left over passes” but no passes were left for us. Kinda frustrating. There are 2 forks and 3 spoons in the whole cabin. Very few bowls and a couple plates. We are a family of 5 and had to buy our own plates and utensils. There were half rolls (if that) of toilet paper left in each bathroom with NO EXTRA toilet paper in sight. We had to buy our own toilet paper AND paper towels. We should’ve just stayed in a hotel. The food in the pantry needs to be cleaned out. There are some really gross things left in there. The slider in the upstairs twin bed bedroom doesn’t close properly and doesn’t have a screen, so not being to get a breeze in there made it really hot for my kids to sleep. It would be nice to be able to open the door for fresh air.

Very dirty and poor showing
The house was not cleaned prior to our arrival and we had to wait three hours past our check-in time to be able to enter the property. Even then it was dusty, walls were dirty, there were 6 bags of trash left on the front porch our entire stay and a huge pile of used laundry left on the floor of the laundry room. I would definitely not recommend this house to my family and friends.
