We were given the wrong key code and had difficulty getting into the property. When we tried to phone the office of Parklane by Urban space nobody answered. Once we were into the property we had to take turns having a cup of tea as there was only 3 mugs, there were 4 of us. 1 of the mugs looked like it had been used by the previous occupier as a toothbrush holder there was grime and toothpaste dribbling down the side of the mug which had not been washed and put back in the cupboard! We couldn’t get hold of the management company by phone as every time it rang it just disconnected so I emailed them, they then sent somebody round to bring another mug and did a quick clean of the property.However the place was still an absolute disgusting state even after a quick clean. There was food left in the freezer from the previous occupier and costume jewellery left in the second bedroom which was obviously from the previous occupier, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned at all it was disgusting, the shower caddy had a buildup of black grime from what appears to be months of dirt, the microwave oven/oven hadn’t been cleaned and was full of crumbs and splattered food on the side, the skirting boards had fluff and dust all over them as did the floor the cooker hood was thick with grime and my daughters white socks were black on the bottom from the floor not being cleaned. We were unable to get hold of the Management company.Expedia were looking into this however they haven’t replied in a month
