「This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.」

「While the place is handsome and well kept, there are serious issues that I encountered that were reported here by others. The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great...

「I had a wonderful stay at 22DieLaan and would recommend it gladly. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and efficient and friendly and welcoming -they even sent out for glue and repaired my earing for the function I needed to attend! The room was spacious and very well equipped, very clean and luxurious combined with an old Cape atmosphere with carefully selected antiques. Well done and thank you!!」

「Inredningen stämde inte alls med bilder på Hotels.com. Det var slitet och torftigt. Värdelöst internet. Ingen tvättmaskin Ingen diskmaskin Ingen tvättservice ingen reception. Smutsig uteplats med trasiga bänkar och full med duvskit. Utsikten mot havet var rätt in i en mur. Priset skulle vara med rabatt, dubbelt så dyrt mot andra ställen Lyxlägenhet med renoveringsbehov 」
