Staying at Mayana Villa felt very homely, and the villa itself is big enough for 6 adults. Each villa has its own private pool, so it's really nice to be able to swim comfortably. But imo the depth of the pool is slightly too deep, a 163cm person had to tiptoe to stand in the pool.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the staff at Mayana as they were all so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They spent some time explaining to us certain stuff, telling us where are the good places to eat (or mobile app for food delivery), and always want to ensure that we had a good stay. The efficiency of the staff is marvellous. They carried out our requests promptly, such as requesting for travel adapters, replacement of drinking water, and cleaning of the pool.
Beds are comfy, but the bed located at the attic was too small for two male adults to sleep in, the size of that bed is clearly smaller than that of the other two beds provided. With regards to the water temperature in the toilet, the standing shower is alright, but the bathtub water wasn't hot enough and they did not have clear indications of how to adjust the temperature (the design of the tap is kind of weird, not intuitive enough for us to know how to turn on hot/cold water).
The living room was unbearably hot so it could have been better if there were more fans provided. There were only two ceiling fans which were placed above the dining tables and not the sofa area.
