「Het huisje ligt rustig in de bergen. Je hebt een (huur)auto nodig om het eiland te verkennen. Uitzicht is mooi (je kijkt richting de oceaan) maar de inrichting is erg basis. Nauwelijks voorzieningen aanwezig in het huisje. Ze zijn wel bezig met opknappen en renoveren maar het is allemaal wat ouder/basic.」

Klein gemoedelijk dorpje met enkele restaurantjes en een supermarkt. Auto wel nodig als je iets van Madeira wilt zien. Parkeren op de oprit van het huis, met hek ervoor desgewenst zelfs in garage!
