Venture 2 miles into Bude to potter in its shops and pause for a cream tea. Explore wider North Cornwall, visiting Boscastle, 13 miles away, with its picture-postcard harbour. Plan a day out to fascinating Tintagel, 17.5 miles away, to wander the castle that features in the legends of King Arthur and see the cave said to have been home to the wizard Merlin.

While away evenings chatting together beside the roaring wood burner from the comfort of the plush sofas in the lounge. Some members of your party might prefer to settle down in front of the Smart TV in the snug instead.
