「First time in Newbiggin and enjoyed it, the town has plenty of resources- a corner shop just round the corner and pubs, takeaways, cafes and a couple of restaurants, a small craft ale bar too. There’s going to be a new bar/café opening any day now just over the road down on the beach which will be handy (and as it’s low down shouldn’t cause any problems). The house was as described, newly done out, well equipped with comfy beds and an unblocked sea view. We used it as a base for exploring the...

「This house is outstanding. Elaine caters for everyone especially children and as we know when the kids are happy the adults can relax. We have stayed for the third time last weekend , it is such a central area with a beach minutes away also. We will be back certainly.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's house. The house is cozy and equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and also to many local shops, bars and bistros. Newbiggin is the best base to explore many of the area's attractions: Lindisfarne, Newcastle or Yorkshire. Highly Recommended.」

「We really enjoyed our days by the sea and in this house and can highly recommend it! The house is well and carefully furnished (very nice bed linen), large windows with a beautiful view of the bay and seating outside in the garden. It is in a very quiet location in a relaxed environment. There is a lovely café within walking distance right by the bay. The house also offers plenty of space.」

「A lovely spot for a few days away to relax and unwind. The property was clean and well-maintained and was a lovely base to explore beautiful Northumberland. The only downside was the noise from the adjacent busy road but it it did quieten down late evening. Would stay again」

「The property is very nice, nicely furnished and very clean. We did feel that it lacked in terms of things provided, such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, just one USED dishcloth. No welcome pack with instructions, and parking was very confusing. We unpacked the car a the rear of the house, which upset the neighbour. We parked in the nearby public car park for the duration of our stay. We were also disappointed to find out that there was no live TV channels.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper. Lovely view of the sea in the distance. The wood fired hot tub was a fun experience, the beds are very comfortable, essentials for a kitchen, nice shower. It’s amazing what comforts they have managed to fit into that space. Be prepared for some traffic noise as it’s close to a fairly busy road. LOVED Bamburgh, strolling magnificent beaches in the area and a day of exploring Holy Island. Lots to do that’s for sure.」

「Really enjoyed our stay, the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. The only downside was the location of hot tub - guests from other properties were constantly walking right past the tub in order to get to the other side of the lake. A privacy screen would make a huge difference.」
