「We stayed 1 night. Our studio--sitting room, large bathroom, and bedroom--was very spacious with many amenities: coffee/water/materials for eating in. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. 」

「The lodge was just as described - very modern, clean and cosy. The site itself was also lovely. This was the perfect place to stay, close enough to Keswick for things to do but away from the crowds. Highly recommend a stay here, we will be back for sure! 」

「Absolutely gorgeous lodge in a stunning and peaceful location. So handy. Close to all our usual haunts in Keswick but the setting makes you feel like you are wonderfully cut off from the world and I mean that in the best possible way. The lodge was super well equipped and the WiFi was better than at home! Tackled a few more Wainwrights while we were there. Would not hesitate to return to the site. The only minor blip was that there were workers fixing the electrics for some time when we arrived...

「Loved the property and location and the owner of the property was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Only problem with the holiday was being able to communicate with the property management company as they could not contact us as they had wrong email information. It did not matter in the end as we spoke to the property owner and he was very helpful and obliging.」

「This place is heaven on earth. Absolutely stunning grounds and the cottage is gorgeous! Immaculate! Paul and Julie welcomed us on arrival and were so informative. Hillary went out of her way to take us to get groceries as we were without acar. Loved them all! We can't say enough good about these folks. Would definitely stay there again!」

「The cottage is beautiful, immaculately clean, very comfortable, well equipped, and spacious with 3 bedrooms snd two bathrooms. I would describe it as a little gem with oodles of character. Eileen and Richard are wonderful hosts. Such lovely people and gave great tips about where to go and where best to park. Got to mention Humphrey, Maple and Syrup - the adorable ducks! 「Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. 」

「Was left over chinese takeaway in fridge. Bed sheets were disgusting, lots of hairs and stains. Cups were unwashed. Decking was so slippy, green molud, nearly had a bad fall. Fold away chairs in main bedroom which seems to be from outside had spider nets. We came home after being there few hours and was meant to stay 4 nights. We were so disappointed, angry, deflated as saved up our hard earned cash for our 4 nights away and ended us coming home before we should have. 」
