「Had a wonderful stay at the Darlington. Staff was amazing and super friendly. Right across the street from the Boardwalk, the beach and fishing pier with restaurant. The cottage we stayed in was built in the 1940’s and was very cute and comfortable. This is a local family run business and they take pride in what they do. If you want a high rise, high end resort this isn’t the place for you. But if you want a cozy, CLEAN, mom and pop where they will treat you like family, then you’ll love it. We...

However, being on the main road of Ocean Lakes was very noisy and tricky to get parked without completely stopping the long line of traffic on the main road of OL. Not the fault of the owners at all...just our experience. We appreciated the opportunity to bring our small dog with us. No living/ dining room, no table to eat at, we all had to stand and eat because they don't have table for dining. The dryer did not dry and we had to dry our clothes/ towels outside. Manager communication was not good, did not respond to any of my calls or texts. the location is good.」

「Overall was a good stay our first time renting a house for vacation 」

「We have stayed at this beach cottage a couple of times now and it does not disappoint! The cottage is very clean & relaxing and definitely makes you feel at home with everything you need. The host (Peg) was AMAZING with communication and details about our stay. It's in the perfect central location to everything we like to do and close to the beach to spend the afternoons. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying here and will definitely be back soon 」

「Although the weather wasn't the best, we absolutely loved our stay. The golf cart was a great extra! The house was equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels, and the bathroom was beautiful and that shower head was wonderfully relaxing. The beds were very comfy. Beautiful location and Helen was so quick to respond to any of our questions.We'd definitely stay again. Also, the price cannot be beat」
