The space is a lovely family stay with a responsive property management. Wonderful common area with a gas stove in the kitchen. Open concept for maximum family interaction. Fantastic view of the mountains and secluded location on top of a peak. The gas fireplace is a nice cozy touch. Solid WiFi. There is a steam room in the shower of the master bedroom. 3 proper bedrooms and an office with a futon in the loft/office area. One double room, one queen bedroom, one king in the master suite. All rooms have their own bathroom except the loft which will need to share a bathroom. There is a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked except for a water heater for tea, but you can boil water.
Something to be aware of is that it is at the top of a mountain with a steep incline and having a 4 wheel drive during a snowy season it is necessary to get up the hill safely. The main hill up and down does not have a guard rail to the drop off and could be worrisome if the road is iced over. In addition, it should be noted that the house is at 9,875ft which is about 550 above the town of Breckenridge. If you are coming from sea level, it is a difficult adjustment and may take some time to acclimate.
The town of Breckenridge is lovely, albeit expensive little place to walk around, eat, and shop. It is about 3 miles away and this house sits far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of the downtown area.
