Boat ramp is super close and easily accessible which was wonderful in allowing us to keep our boat tied up in the dock. "The house has all of the amenities you need to stay in touch if you want but also the beautiful outdoors to distract you and allow you to escape from reality and just enjoy the lake. Floats, kayaks, towels, grill, fire pit, wifi, it was all amazing! We had a few hiccups when we got there but Emily and Tucker jumped right on it and we were fixed in no time!"

"We really liked the convenience of being on the first floor especially since the curtains could be closed completely. (We’ve stayed in other places where that was not the case). We enjoyed having coffee in the room but would have liked a little more cream and sugars. Breakfast was nice and appreciated as we wanted to get on our way without additional stops. And the bed was very comfortable!"

Perfect Location, Size, and Layout!

"We already booked a return trip - doesn't that kind of say it all?!Had a yoga retreat with 13 of us at this house and is the best! The layout is excellent. The house is well appointed. It had everything we needed.Being only a little over an hour away from Raleigh you would think it wouldn't feel like another world away, but it was quiet and serene and everything we could have asked for in a place.Edie is a gracious and very communicative hostess and, though we didn't need anything from her, was at the ready to help if we had. Lots of games and activities to keep busy too. We took the kayaks and a paddleboard out when the weather was nice enough to do so. We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but was the night before we left and just didn't have it in us - we did spend some time relaxing in thr Adirondack chairs down there during the day though.It really is a lovely, well designed, well suited home for a large group with all the conveniences and comfort to boot (even the beds were amazingly comfortable!). As mentioned before, we already have plans to return!"

Clarion Pointe on the lake Clarksville-South Hill West

"The hotel was nice but a little dated. Rooms were a good size. Breakfast buffet was clean with a nice variety of choices. Walking distance to some excellent restaurants and McDonald's as well as the main street in town. Over all it was a very nice experience. "

Surprises Around Every Corner

"This is the perfect lake property. The log cabin is stunning and the views are lovely. There are so many sitting options and so many places to cast a line.
