We had a lovely stay at this property. We chose it because it looked like a comfortable house and was right in the path of totality for the 2024 eclipse. It totally lived up to expectations and gave us a great experience overall. The decor is just as spa-like as the listing pictures suggest and the house is very pleasant to stay in. We were only two adults so we had ample space. We enjoyed the spacious master bathroom (including a relaxing bath with lavendar salts), the comfortable beds, and the modern conveniences (large TV, good internet). The kitchen was a good size too and had enough equipment to cover our needs (although not an enormous amount). During our stay the pool and BBQ were not operational but we didn't miss them much. The outside space was peaceful (albeit with some traffic noise, along with cows and chickens). Communication with the host was very straightforward and they sent us clear guidance and instructions. We explored the surrounding area a bit too and enjoyed a local restaurant (Rock Yard), the Ray Roberts State Park, and Coco's spa in Anna [and the Van Alstyne museum was interesting to see too]. If you're looking for a comfortable property in this area away from the beaten track this house is a great choice.
