「The rooms were as stated however the main double bedroom is actually next to the sitting /dining/kitchen area of another apartment and the people partied til 1am. There needs to be either some sound proofing or movement of the rooms so that one group is not disturbed by another.」

「Villa Alizee is probably the best and friendliest place we have stayed in the 4weeks we have spent on this island so far. We were made extremely welcome on our arrival. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished and we had a lovely patio overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee was available at all times. Breakfasts were made personally to order as were the evening meals. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Our hire-car was kept secure in a large on-site compound....

「The hosts were extremely hospitable and make you feel welcome. They went out of the way to give us breakfast early for the flight. The property is in decent condition and suitable for budget travelers.」

「For some their mistake they didn’t find my reservation. Very aggressive mood. I had to call to make their mood change. They gave a room working toilette, got with no a/c. Very stressing. Other cons: - wifi is weak, - big coackroaches flying, - old building needs refurbishment, - kitchen with dangerous gas cylinder (reccomend to not use).」

「The unique thing about this property is that Gert and Marlene treat everyone as individuals and you soon feel part of the family. They have really taken on board the Mauritian way and that translates into a really relaxed vibe. Wonderful food and a great night's sleep! Highly recommend if you want an authentic experience that is a stone's throw from a paradise beach!」

「1st night no hot water. Geyser didn’t work. Aircons don’t work. Cockroaches in room. No soaps, shampoo, etc. They don’t accept cards and only told me this when I wanted to settle my bill the night prior to check out. The owner insisted on me walking almost 2km to go withdraw cash at 9pm. Which was a major inconvenience. I will never stay there again. NEVER!!!」
