「Just what we needed for our visit to Millom. We had an issue in the morning as had no water, but it was fixed as soon as we reported it. 」

「We stayed in a Shepherd's hut and it was great! Lovely location for going walking (only about 10min drive from a car park to go up old man coniston) Was super cosy and warm inside the hut, everything you need to prepare food, a tv to watch Netflix etc and bed was decent. It did get quite damp in there at night leaving the corners of the bed a bit wet in the morning but nothing too extreme. (Might be worse after more than 2 nights though.) 「湖水地方にはウォーターヘッドホテルが二つある。るるぶなどの雑誌に載っているのはAmblesideにあるウォーターヘッドホテルで、こちらはコニストン湖畔のウォーターヘッドホテルであり別物。高い評価を得ているのはAmblesideのほう。ただ、こちらも名前をパクっただけというわけではなく、１００年以上の歴史があるよう。部屋は比較的広くきれいで浴槽付きのバスルームだったが、温度調節が極めて困難ですぐに熱湯になったり水になったり、勢いも悪いシャワーには不満が残ったが、田舎でこの値段を考えれば価格相応か。朝食はフルーツやヨーグルトはビュッフェ形式で取り放題、メインは注文してから作ってもらうスタイルで、出来立てのイングリッシュブレックファーストは美味しかった。」
