「We had an enjoyable stay in a clean cosy place but the tiny touches were missing that we have become accustomed to using other holiday booking platforms (such as toilet roll and soap). 「Property was spotless, beds comfortable, Wi-Fi very good, kitchen well equipped, though none of the odds and end like salt and pepper often found in a self catering place so take absolutely everything you need with you. Perfect wee village- pub excellent with a limited choice of pretty good pub grub and less than a 100yard stagger away! Lovely walks on the doorstep and beautiful scenery, and sheep.」

「Nice clean and comfortable cottage. Loved the enclosed gardens for our dog who can be reactive. We have small garden without grass so he loved the front garden and didn't want to leave. The weather helped us have a lovely long weekend and Thornhill has a good wee co-op, spar, cafe and restaurants. Restaurants were lunch and dinner though, not all day. 「There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age.」

「we had a lovely stay at templand cottages. The little cottage had everything as described. The most helpful and kind landlords. Absolutely relaxing private hot tub. Definitely quiet, no traffic, partying or other noise will disturb you there.
