「An amazing and relaxing stay. Great place. Staff were accommodating. Alfredo and Melissa were lovely. The rooms were clean and tidy. Had everything you needed and short drives to lovely parts of Tuscany. The homemade olive oil and wine were also a highlight. 」

「Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere.」

「We loved the location as it was quiet and tranquil. The host Angelo was attentive and helpful. The breakfast provided was abundant, varied and delicious, could not fault it. The rooms were spacious and lovely garden setting 」

「We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property). The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view. 」

「Posto gradevole immerso nella natura, silenzioso e tranquillo .. a parte il condizionatore che era rumorosissimo e ha rovinato la quiete del luogo e reso meno piacevole il nostro soggiorno. Piscina pulita, colazione ok, stanza grande e confortevole. Suggerirei di cambiare il condizionatore che era davvero rumorosissimo se portato ad una temperatura inferiore ai 27 gradi … e di provvedere ad un filo fuori dalla finestra per appendere i costumi bagnati .. 」

「Das Haus liegt in einer Schlucht am Ende des Dorfes. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt, ist in dieser Lage gut aufgehoben. Allerdings müssen an der Ausstattung des Hauses dringend Erneuerungen vorgenommen werden. Sehr alte Möbel und die Räume sind ausgesprochen finster. Besonders die Küche und das Bad Bedarf einer Überholung. In der Küche findet man nur alte, minderwertige Dinge. Weder Wasserkocher noch Toaster ist vorhanden. Aufgrund der Lage am Bach und Waldrand ist man den Insekten ausgesetzt.」

「Remote farm in the Italian country side. I can say this house has a certain charm and a lot of potential. Upper rooms are nice. The house is a mix of old furniture with a bohemian accent. The kitchen is very small. Impossible to really cook for lot of people. (The kitchen sink is from the house origin, look nice. But really small). Also you need to really pack well any food as rats are helping themselves. There are too many beast in the house for the room in the lower floor to be usable....

「Casa che risponde esattamente ai nostri criteri di soggiorno in autogestione con un gruppo di 12 adulti sui 70 anni, tutti in buona forma. L'interno è accogliente, confortevole, con stanze ampie e ben ammobiliate in stile. Anche l'esterno permette di godere del panorama in un quadro di assoluta tranquillità. Il clima non ci ha permesso di approfittarne appieno ma ne ane abbiamo colto le potenzialità 」
