「This was a peaceful place with a lovely hostess who gave us some eggs from her hens. There is a tiny table with two chairs outside the door and a larger space with garden furniture under a canopy further down the garden, although this would be more comfortable if it could be contrived to put it on level ground. The living space was fine for two people.」

「The only thing which was not perfect was that the iron bedsteads were very creaky and not very comfortable. Everything else was great - spacious, good pool, tennis court and short, rough golf course!」

「Hébergement très calme pour pouvoir s'échapper du quotidien anxiogène parisien. Les hôtes ont été super, bienveillants et accueillants. Il y a un espace extérieur imposant où nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps (sans compter la piscine) avec mes amis, que ce soit pour manger, jouer au ballon, ou juste bronzer. 「Deze omgebouwde schaapskooi is in originele stijl gebleven maar is erg mooi van binnen. De oude haard en sfeer is behouden maar erg mooi opgeknapt. De 2 zwembaden hebben we ook gebruikt, beide zijn erg mooi en schoon. Prima uitgeruste keuken, grote tafel waar we alle 10 aan konden zitten. Ook de netheid was dik in orde. 「The place was ideal for us. It had the most amazing outdoor areas where we could dine and gather to relax. Temperatures reached 38 degrees and the pool area and decking had plenty of shade and beautiful views looking over the river in the distance. There were two BBQ areas and the kitchen had everything you needed. You could walk to the town where there were a number of restaurants and a short drive across the river to a local supermarket. 「What a fantastic setting in lovely wooded surroundings & carp lake for fishing. Taunya was friendly & welcoming & stopped at nothing to make sure our stay went smoothly. 「The property was pretty and well-equipped, and perfectly located at the edge of the village for peace and quiet but walkable to the town across the viaduct. The garden and pool were lovely and served us well for relaxing days. The town is beautiful and quiet, had a couple of good meals in la Maison and Sensations, but mostly cooked as Intermarche, boulangerie and coop all close by. Altogether a lovely week by the river.」
