Combining the best of beach and woodlands, this leafy bungalow with a separate studio offers a sprawling retreat, capturing the essence of the Avoca Beach lifestyle. It's only a five-minute walk from Avoca Lake, where you can have a swim or hire kayaks and stand-up paddle boards at Aquafun, and just 15 minutes from Avoca Beach. After exploring the shorelines, come home to kick back on the decked-out verandah or snuggle up by the fireplace and backyard fire pit.
Wake up at your own leafy-yet-beachy seaside retreat while you explore the Avoca Beach area. With coastal-themed decor, timber floors and generous indoor-outdoor living, you will truly feel on holiday the moment you walk through the door. Enjoy the seaside locale on foot and come home to kick back on the deck with ambient lighting and a lush outlook, or throw some wood on the fire pit and cosy up in the wicker daybed with your favourite book.

Be prepared to drive up a steep driveway that leads to a small set of stairs at the entryway. Inside, you will find the main lounge which features a comfortable chaise for relaxation, a widescreen TV, and an indoor fireplace to keep you cosy. This area seamlessly extends into an open kitchen and dining area equipped with a DeLonghi coffee machine to help you get your caffeine fix and start your day right.

The hallway leads to the primary bedroom, bathroom, toilet and laundry. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed with a canopy frame and a window with scenic views overlooking the verandah. A door in the laundry leads out to the backyard and stylish studio space. The studio serves as a second bedroom fit with a queen bed, lounge and TV, it also benefits from plenty of space to get creative with an oversized desk and easel. Back inside the main house, you'll find the bathroom with a shower and vanity, as well as a separate toilet, while in-unit laundry offers a washing machine.

Additional conveniences include a split-system air conditioning and a free parking spot on the driveway.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.

Stay Could Be Improved – Cleanliness Concerns
We booked two nights but, unfortunately, stayed only one due to some issues with cleanliness. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable cat odor, so I had to purchase an air freshener. The sofa covered with Cat fur, and the bedroom needed more thorough cleaning, as there was dust on the walls, bed frame, bedside lamp, and ceiling fan. I had to clean it by myself to feel comfortable sleeping.I shared these concerns with the owner, who assured me that they would look into it. I appreciate their willingness to investigate and look forward to hearing from the property management. I hope these issues can be addressed to enhance the experience for future guests.

Nice cottage with Poor accessibility
The cottage is nice. However, the driveway is very steep and there is nowhere to turn around that the top. This means reversing down the hill and the driveway is in between blind corners on both sides. Once you have parked, there are a set of steep stairs to walk up to gain entry. Unfortunately, this was not advertised or we would not have booked.
