"We stayed in Cottage A as a family of 6. It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. The host was very friendly and helpful, and had the fire in the living room set up burning already, and the hot tun already set up ready to go. It was very clean and everything is very modern and just beautiful. Unfortunately we didnt get to spend much time admiring the views because it was raining a and very windy/ cold. Without the kids we could have done more exploring...

"We had a problem accessing the security key numbers - x2 - necessary to get into the property. Hotels.com app failed and both tel calls and emails to the owner failed for over 2 hours. Finally got access. Will probably mean that I won’t stay in accommodation that doesn’t have a front desk in future. Otherwise a comfortable stay near centre of town. Clean, quiet with plenty of room. Missing coffee pods in supplies left for guests. Thank you."

"An excellent holiday apartment. My niece and I enjoyed our stay there. Weather was very pleasant and my niece enjoyed many walks around Dundrum. We had beautiful meals, especially at The Bucks Head in centre of village. We shall be looking to return again for a break."

"The best rental place we have ever stayed in! Everything and more was provided and all top quality, definitely a home from home. Janet is an excellent host and couldn’t do enough for us the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The views are to die for and even with the not so good Irish weather we still managed to do so much. "A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"We had a really lovely one night stay here to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. I had emailed the hotel before arrival to let them know of the occasion, and they kindly gave us a room upgrade and left a note and cupcakes in the room. Acknowledgements like this really make a hotel stand out and we were very happy. It was the first time we had stayed since the refurbishment, and all areas of the hotel are beautiful. The room itself was stunning, with views of both of the sea and the Mournes. We are local enough so the sight isn’t uncommon to us, but looking out at it from the hotel room was just spectacular! All the staff are very kind, courteous, friendly and hardworking. We dined in the town but had a couple of cocktails each in the Wolf bar which were very high quality. We appreciate a good cocktail! The breakfast buffet was lovely. Thank you for making this a memorable occasion :-) "
