During my stay, the home was clean & well-stocked. The host provided listed toiletries & solar lights on the front walkway very nice. The living room's TV & fully stocked kitchen w/a coffee maker, toaster, & crockpot were convenient. Peppermints, bottled water, coffee supplies, & game boards were thoughtful touches. The private patio facing the woods was peaceful, & the towels & bedding were excellent. The showers had good water pressure & heat & WiFi worked well. However, I wasn't given garage access as promised, leading to inconvenience & safety concerns. Parking in the back w/o proper entry & lack of night lighting were issues. The no-shoe rule was cumbersome due to parking logistics. I raised concerns w/the owner but didn't receive the promised garage remote. On one occasion, we were locked out due to the dead-bolted front door, which wouldn't have happened w/garage access. Other cars were parked out front & there is space for 1 car to park & not block fire hydrant or mailboxes. The property had full-size mattresses on queen frames despite advertising queen beds. The front bedroom door didn't close properly, & amenities like a first aid kit, hot tub, spa whirlpool or fireplace remote were missing. Communication regarding exterior camera locations could be improved. These issues affected the overall experience despite the home's positive aspects.
