「悪かった点 ・ソファベッド込みでツインの部屋だったはずなのに、ソファベッドの組み立て方の説明はされないし掛け布団やブランケットが一切用意されておらず、寒くてとても困った ・カーテンが破れてボロボロ ・部屋が道路に面していたので車が通るたびにうるさい ・カーテンを開けると道路から丸見えになってしまうので防犯上の観点から閉めざるを得ず、部屋が暗かった ・お風呂にシャンプーやボディーソープなどを置く場所がなくて不便だった ・クローゼットの上段にドライヤーが置いてあったがわかりづらいし高くて取りづらかった ・部屋のドアにドアチェーン的なものがなく不安だった ・ホテルの入口が開きっぱなしなのにフロントにスタッフがおらず無人の状態のことが度々あり不安だった ・チェックアウト時にもフロントに誰もおらず電話をしたら「ルームキーをデスクに置いておくように」とだけ言われたが、無人の状態で置いていくことにとても抵抗があった 良かった点 ・チェックイン時に周辺のおすすめレストランを教えてもらえて参考になった ・ペットボトルのお水やコーヒーメーカーが無償で提供されていて有り難かった」

The location is very convenient (walking distance from the Presidio and Haight-Ashbury), but still located on a quiet street. Street parking is available but limited to 2 hours during the day on weekdays, which may not be convenient to those who want to leave a car at the apartment while exploring the city.」

「It could have been great… the apartment is nicely updated and tidy, but DIRTY! The good news is, this is an easy fix and I hope the homeowner will take heed. The bathrooms and kitchen were dirty and full of the homeowner’s personal items-weird and gross! Additionally, the beds were like sleeping on a slabs of granite! We stayed two nights, and between the dirty bathrooms and uncomfortable beds, we couldn’t have faced another night! 」

「This cute little hotel is located very close to the Chinatown gates, bus stops, restaurants. There is a little market up the road for some groceries and cold wine/beer. The pub next door has good food. It is an older building with a narrow winding staircase, but it does have an elevator. It does not have that old building smell, though! 「Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! Everything we needed was there and so easy to get to other parts of Oakland from the cottage. Host was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. Just slightly awkward placement of the living room TV, but we didn’t end up using it anyway.」
