Tolle Wohnung auf einem Hausboot
Unser Aufenthalt war, wie erwartet sehr entspannt. Das Hausboot liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, trotzdem ist das Zentrum Amsterdams gut fussläufig zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeit auch in der Nähe. Die Gastgeber haben an alles gedacht.Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Auch der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Also alles sehr zu empfehlen.

50th Birthday Celebration
My best friend and I stayed at Catherine and Peter house for 4 nights. The house is beautiful and the neighborhood very safe and quiet. Catherine and Peter are the best host I have ever had. I’m looking forward going back sometime in the future.

4 Days in Amsterdam
The property was beautifully appointed with all your needs taken care of. Nice quiet location with amenities a mere 5 minute walk. Public transit into city centre was an easy thing to work out and not too far away. Catherine and Peter were personable and attentive to any questions. A truly memorable experience and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Beautifully decorated and appointed, simple but elegant. Super comfortable, loved having a full kitchen and a clothes washer, huge plus. View gorgeous, enjoyed watching waterfowl. Quiet and peaceful area. Grocery store a bit of a walk but manageable. Easy to walk or take transport to city center

Alles war top! Sehr ruhige Lage und trotzdem war die Innenstadt schnell erreichbar! Das Hausboot hatte ein wunderschönes Flair und wir haben jede Minute genossen. Wir würden allerdings dazu raten Amsterdam nicht mit dem Auto zu besuchen. Parken ist sehr sehr teuer.

Tranquil haven makes our Amsterdam visit a memorable experience
We spent six nights at the Luxury Ark on our recent visit to Amsterdam. Our hosts, Catherine and Peter, were welcoming and very helpful. The Ark was a tranquil haven in the midst of the busy tourist season and yet still accessible to the city by bike, public transport or on foot. It was difficult to leave in the mornings and a joy to return each evening and sit by the canal while reflecting on the day’s activities! The Ark is very well set up with much thought given to making the space homely, aesthetically pleasing and functional. The check in process and communication with the hosts could not have been easier. The access to bikes was an added bonus that allowed us to experience that important side of Amsterdam. The Ark exceeded our expectations and we would be very happy to return on our next visit to Amsterdam.

Beautiful Luxury ark
The houseboat was beautiful , comfortable , peaceful and quiet. Also very different from any other VRBO we have stayed in . Perfect for Amsterdam ! Our hosts Catherine and Peter were excellent ! Quiet getaway in a big city
Not only is this houseboat incredibly modern and well equipped, it’s located in a quiet neighborhood just steps from a tram stop to connect you to the rest of Amsterdam. It’s a short walk to De 9 Straats and the Jordaan neighborhood full of beautiful canals and old houses. Check in was a breeze even late at night, the hosts are kind and quick to respond if you need anything at all.

Amsterdam Short Break
This is the second time we have stayed in this property.It is in a very peaceful spot but with good access to central Amsterdam. The property is very clean and all the appliances etc are very modern and work very well.It is very nice to sit with the large patio window open and feed the ducks. There are also some very nice cafe's/coffee shops within walking distance. Would have no hesitation in recommending

Great Spot!
Had a wonderful week stay on the houseboat. The location and surroundings were beautiful. About 20 minute walk to City Center and multiple tram and bus stops within a 10 minute walk. Not too far to all of the action, but away enough that you get peace and quiet. Hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with and offered bikes and paddle boards to rent for pretty cheap! We did not get to take advantage of either because there’s never enough time on vacation, but you can launch the paddle board right off the dock/patio of the boat so I wish we would have been able to! The oven was a bit confusing for me, so if you plan on using it at all maybe ask about it at check in. Very clean. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Unterkunft und Gastgeber - Hervorragend!
Modern und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattetes Hausboot mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben das 3-Sturm-Wochenende dort verbracht und uns jederzeit sicher und behaglich gefühlt, auch wenn es manchmal ganz schön schwankte. Die Anbindung an die Innenstadt ist super, man kann sie zu Fuß, mit der Bahn oder den vorhandenen Fahrädern gut erreichen, dafür genießt man zum Schlafen die Ruhe am Kanal. Die Gastgeber sind jederzeit da, wenn man Fragen hat oder Hilfe benötigt, wenn nicht, kann man ungestört seine Zeit auf dem wunderbaren Hausboot verbringen. Wir werden sicherlich eines Tages zurückkehren!

Saubere, moderne, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Zur nächsten Bahnstation max. 10 Min. Fußweg, Supermarkt um die Ecke. Fahrräder waren auch zur Nutzung vorhanden, ein zusätzlicher „Bonus.“ Es war alles da, was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht. Sehr netter Kontakt zu den Vermietern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und erholsame Tage auf diesem tollen Hausboot verbracht. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall wieder buchen!

Propriétaires adorables Les équipements de la maison sont d'excellente qualité. La maison est d'une propreté impeccable. Le lieu est agréable et paisible. Le gros plus, les vélos fournis par les propriétaires. Nous sommes comblés par ce séjour dans cet établissement.
