The reception asked if my travel companion (a girl) and i are married. I said no, and they said I would have to book another room. Then came down to the reasonable "it will cost 15 dinars". I wrote hotels.com and that problem was sorted (praise to this website!) And then the staff was "friendly". Hmm. Then the non-smoking two-bed room smelled like smoke and had one big bed "for the sinning unmarried couple"? There were cigarettes in the hallways, sometimes in the ashtray under the no smoking sign, and sometimes on the floor. In the breakfast room, there are non smoking signs on the door to enter from the stairs, but you enter to a cloud of smoke from the staff hanging out there with their families, smoking. The lobby is nice enough, but everything else is downhill from there. Poorly maintained, a but dirty. Not a great stay.
