Had a wonderful couple of nights in the Stargazing room.
The car park is small, but a decent one is just round the corner (£9 for a day, so spent £18 on top of the cost of the hotel)
The breakfasts were great, with a good selection of cooked food.
The facilities were nice, the bath water runs very hot, and is very difficult to cool. I spent more time getting the water right than I did in the bath. On this topic, the toiletries provided weren’t the best, so used my own.
The teas and coffees on offer in the room are standard fare, not quite what the price of the room would usually offer.
Overall, I had a lovely time in this hotel and in Grasmere, I would absolutely stay here again. The staff were warm and friendly at all times and the hotel is very conveniently located if coming for a night or two.
