「This is our second time renting for our annual girls weekend and it was perfect once again! Everything is clean and comfortable. Talking to the host was quick and easy, and the location can’t be beat!」

「In town for a family wedding shower. Lots of room for us, so clean and had everything we needed- even an iron and ironing board. Perfect spot for us. 」

「My wife and I planned a short trip to do a little hiking and visit a few wineries. There were several wineries within a short drive of town. The Hammondsport Hideaway was conveniently located in town just a short walk to shops and restaurants. It was very clean, cozy place with a comfy king size bed.」

「We were impressed as soon as we walked in the door. Plenty of room for everyone and a very well stocked kitchen. Beds were extremely comfy. The entire unit was very well organized and decorated. The convenience of walking a short distance across the parking lot to the slopes was unbeatable. The hosts were very responsive throughout the booking process (and I can be very needy!) 「This home was definitely a favorite for our family. We love places that have history. And all the details they kept when remodeling is definitely appreciated. The house was easy to find, we didn't have any issues checking in and property management was easy to get ahold of with and questions we had. For the most part it was clean. 「The space was comfy, loved the added touches - board games, books, records, etc. Location was perfect for what we were doing - skiing at Bristol Mountain, hiking. Stephanie was communicative and helpful when we had a small issue getting into the property. Overall it was a great place to stay. 」

There was a lot of literature as well about the whole area. We have stayed in many vrbos from ny to key west to Tennessee and beyond, this one did not disappoint at all. 「We came back after last year's stay. It is a lovely home set in a tall pine woods. It is quiet, yet if you need to get out not far from a small town with some good food. Lots of preserved lands for exploring. 」

「Our stay at the Retreat of Falling Waters was nothing short of magical. We loved exploring the waterfall, playing the board games provided, and enjoying meals at the quaint kitchen table. Just plan to bring your own drinking water because the well water connected to the property isn’t really safe to drink! Thank you so much to the incredibly communicative host! 」
