"Only 5-star reviews of this property; the check- in was fine and quick, although it was off-site (just nav/map it). The building next door is vacant and sketchy but it is not - the area is being redeveloped. Dining options are somewhat scant under a 10- 15 minute walk, but there are many just beyond that. Parking is free in front of the building and available when we were there, but not sure if there are spaces in the summer, as there is a beach access and club there. "

"The Cardeal Suites & Apartments is a quiet oasis, located in an average Faro neighbourhood. It's conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the shopping/restaurant district and 10 minutes from the historic downtown. Claudia, the property manager is super helpful and informative. The cleaning staff are friendly and polite. "

"Visited in January 2025 which is the slow season for the Algarve. Quiet location in Carvoeiro with numerous shops and restaurants. During my stay there was maintenance being performed at the resort as well as various business in town. Property is clean and well maintained."

"Lovely property with amazing views over Luz to the ocean from the balcony. Easy walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the beach. Comfortable furnishings and impeccably clean. Off street parking made it convenient to get in and out every day. One of the best onsite hosts we have ever experienced. One broken item was immediately replaced. Helpful at check in and during our entire one 1 month stay. We will be back!"

"We had a wonderful week in the beautiful, spacious apartment. Check in and out were simple and communication with our hosts was excellent.We loved the location of the apartment, close to the marina with lots of restaurants etc. It was also a nice walk along the water to the old town and beach. The water pressure was excellent and the bed was super comfortable. We loved Lagos and hope to return one day! I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to my friends and family. "Very good apartment spacious enough ,lovely views from the balcony across.the countryside to the sea . Good clean swimming food . Good communication on arrival fridge was broken I reported it and within 15 minutes was replaced excellent responce . Car recommended ."

"This was my 1st solo trip to Albufeira, but a familiar area as I've stayed at Santa Eulalia many times now. I wasn't expecting the apartment to do be so big as I was staying alone, but it was large enough to sleep 4 people. All rooms were spacious. The sofa bed in the living room did look quite worn, so could do with replacing. The kitchen had all the facilities needed including an oven, stove top, microwave and washing machine. I'm not a fan of shower curtains in hotels, but the shower worked...

"We had a great stay. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Weare very familiar with the area since we have stayed inthe complex before. The location was great, easy walk to town. The area is quiet, yet close to town. We had anissue with the heating, however, Chris was great in resolving that very quickly. "

"Stayed for one week. Appartment good if not a bit out dated. Also maybe a matress topper would be an idea as bed quite hard. Furniture in lounge needs oudating but overall very good."

"Very spacious, excellent patio, great for sunbathing & very private. Walking distance to all amenities, large supermarket, bus & train stations, beach, many restaurants and shopping in Old Town of Lagos. Great communication with Host and on-sight property manager. Very clean and had everything we needed. "

"Excellent stay at Apartamentos Tucha.Very central about 30 metres from Albufeira escalators this everything was at walking distance. Met Andre on arrival who communicated well prior to arrival and provided a good introduction to the apartment. The stay included free cleaning on 6th day which was done at high standards. The apartment doesn't have a washing machine and dishwasher but that is how it is advertised.There are launderettes within 10 minutes walk."

"This hotel was amazing in every way. The views outside the hotel were breathtaking. To the back was the most beautiful cliffs and to the left was the mountains and city. And there were numerous walking trails and boardwalks right outside the grounds. The sea view superior room was huge and beautiful and well equipped. The bed was so comfy with wonderful bedding and pillows - firm but giving. The bathroom was huge with a tub and large shower. Huge balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast was very good with outside seating available and a coffee bar and champagne. Valet service was quick and the staff was soooo friendly. It’s a quick drive to old town Lagos. The spa was clean and had a sauna and steam room as well as a small outside jacuzzi and large heated pool at no extra charge. The normal pool was large and beautiful and there was even a baby pool. I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay in Lagos. And even a great value for everything we got."

"The service is exceptional, the staff are wonderful and food is fabulous. I would advise booking restraints for dinner via their website in advance of arriving to avoid not being able to get a table. I would especially recommend the Japanese restaurant. We also went to the Sisley spa and had a yoga class and sound bath which was very special. This hotel is 5* in everything. Even though it's child friendly it still feels quiet and adult only. So there is something for families and also adults. I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable."

"The hotel was in an excellent location, walking distance to bars, restaurants, and shops. The breakfast selection was great and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. The staff were polite and very helpful. The beach in front of the hotel was very nice, with lots to do. Would stay here again for sure! ."
