"During my recent trip to the UAE, I felt there were significant shortcomings in the information provided by both the hotel and Expedia. Clear, advance guidance should have been provided regarding the requirement to remain within the transit area for accommodation, as well as instructions on how to retrieve checked baggage if staying within the transit area. I even contacted the hotel and even the local airline, but due to the lack of prior information, I was unable to secure accommodation locally. Given these issues, I believe a refund is warranted, and I strongly request that appropriate notices be put in place to prevent similar issues for future travelers."
