We're a family with 3 young children and really enjoyed our stay here.
The location is great - three minutes' walk from the gates of the old walled city (just over the bridge); with the walled city containing a large number of reasonable restaurants and with a warm atmosphere both in the day and in the evening. It's also two minutes drive to the nearest supermarket, and a short walk to the local tennis courts. And the coast is close, with some great beaches within 10 to 25 minutes from the apartment.
The facilities are good. The swimming pool is kept up well and we used it every day (most of the time on our own). The underground parking was very useful. The apartment was well equiped so that we were able to prepare most of our meals at the apartment. And, while the weather got quite hot when we were there in late July, the apartment is equipped with good fans and the apartment stayed cooler most of the time than outside, and the balcony was very well used to enjoy the warm summer evenings!
The things to do in the area are also superb, from a really good Roman museum and monuments in Arles (40 minutes drive) to the art museum and zoo in Montpelier (30 minutes drive) to Nimes (40 minutes) and the pont du Gard (50 minutes.) I would also recommend staying in Aigues-Mortes rather than on the coast because the old town felt much more relaxed and with a more genuine character than the nearby coastal towns.
So, overall, we thought that this was a great value apartment that we would recommend.
