It is our 2nd stay in this hotel. The first stay was flawless. The second was definitely the last one. We arrived at 2 am which we previously informed the hotel. One of the beds was not ready so we had to wait for 30 min to get the bedding. The hotel tried to rip us off for gala dinner (~400 Eur for 4 people!) for which we were not interested, especially staying on BB. They insisted that this is mandatory even for self catering. Never seen anything like that. Had to speak to a manager to resolve this. The person at the reception was extremely irritated. Had to speak to them (not naming them) on two occasions. One of the responses was “thank you for making our work harder”…,”you are entitled to your opinion”… The cleaning personnel are very hardworking! Shame about the reception.
