「 Nice place, owner genuinely nice. Had a really great breakfast, served in our room each morning, interesting area, all and all great long weekend getaway- recommended. Place just needs an ice machine. 」

「The front desk staff were amazing! They had answers for all the questions we asked about the area. Stanley greeted us with a purr. He has to be the sweetest cat ever! Shower water was perfectly hot, bed was comfy. Easy drive to restaurants and sights in the area. We were there in the winter and plan on coming back in the spring.」

「Quiet, clean. Strange TV setup and no hairdryer or standard closet. Didn’t care for soap dispensers in shower or sink area. i think it is geared travelers for one night stays and fishermen.」

「Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly. The hotel itself is not new but the room was very clean with updated furniture and floors. It is obvious the owners take care of it. I was only there for one night with an early morning appointment so can't say much about the surrounding area other than it was convenient to my appointment.」

「A nice little hotel. In a cute little town. It’s an old property, but it is very very clean. Do to the nature of the building you can hear everyone talking and walking. We were woken at 8:30 this morning by the room above us being vacuumed, which was very loud. Overall a nice stay!」

「The hotel staff are always friendly and courteous. The lobby is clean and well maintained. The interior rooms are in better condition than the outside rooms. Consider adding a bread/bagels/spreads and a toaster on the continental breakfast bar. 」

「Check in was amazingly simple. She easily found my reservation and I was able to get checked in. We went to Cape Charles which was close in proximity for a family vacation. We didn’t spend much time in our room. The time spent in the room was well worth it. It was a spacious room with a nice clean energy. My only complaint is the toilet, it wasn’t clean. Had several urine stain lines running down the front of it. I brought Lysol wipers and Lysol air freshener to spray so it wasn’t a huge deal....

「I've used this hotel multiple times. It's clean and comfortable with good customer service. It's not fancy but it has everything I need. Good water pressure in the shower and comfy bed with microwave, fridge and desk space. Good wifi. For the money a good deal.」
