「I really like this place , I stayed here a few years ago and the standard has remained high . It’s comfortable ,the staff are friendly and helpful and it’s really good value for money .Breakfast is excellent as is the food generally - had the best steak I’ve had in a long while for dinner . 」

「A lovely old 'proper' village pub. Great service and food (just the right sized portions for dinner and breakfast as well. Room was initially warm (we were fine in January without the radiator on all weekend) and the mattress was very soft and bouncy (for us at least compared to what we are used to). 」

「朝ごはんはイギリスのコンチネンタルブレックファーストで、色々な種類のものをお料理してくださり、フルーツヨーグルトなども自由に食べれます。温かい飲み物もリクエストしたら、大きなジャーに入ってきて、何杯でもいただけます。お部屋は大きくて、ゆっくりとくつろげます。水回りもとても綺麗でした。とにかく経営されていらっしゃるJaneさんご夫妻はとにかく優しくて、こちらが聞いたことには丁寧にそして優しく接して下さいました。イギリスならでの事も教えてくださり、とても貴重な経験をすることが出来ました。一度チェックアウトして、何日か後にまた宿泊するケースだったのですが、荷物も少し預かってくださり、本当に助けていただきました。このご夫婦の暖かさがあったため、素敵な旅をすることが出来ました。」

「We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow).
